~ The Author ~ Sgt. Maj. Predator started playing the game in 1989 with a pump Sheridan (PMI-1) as his marker. When he found out that teams wearing a patch got a discount at the local paintball field, he got some friends and started the five man team Marauders. When the paintball field was finally closed, Predator organized games at the river near town. The rest is history. After all these years Predator has constantly played the woodsball game. The way it was originally played, in the woods, along rivers in jungle-like terrain, in the mountains, day or night, rain or shine. He has trained hundreds of players. Even more when you count those trained by players he trained. From the first single-shot pumps of the old days to the radical hi-tec full auto markers we see today, the basic game remains the same. His team's motto "Every Man Fights As Four," has become a battle cry that many players have found will keep them motivated when the chips are down and when something needs to be done now! |
